ANNOUNCER: This is STAR SPECTACLE (TM)! Your hosts…Adam and Evelyn…

ADAM: Hello my fellow Americans!

EVELYN: Hi, everyone! And welco....wait. What? What did you just say? And why do you have that ridiculous hat on?

A: I put it on right before we went on. What's wrong with it? What?! Only Uncle Sam can wear it?

E: And what's with the American greeting? We have viewers. No matter what they consider themselves. That's what's great about this country. It welcomes people from all parts of the globe - all nationalities, all colors.

A: You mean...all stripes? I'm glad you said that. Cause that's what tonight’s all about!

E: Nice transition! Yes, it's getting close to...Presidents Day!

A: Tell me you like the hat. Pleeeezzzzzeee.

E: Fine. It looks good.

A: You're just saying that.

E: That's what you wanted me to say! Let me see it again. Here...wear the top hat...kinda sideways. With an edge. There. Looks better.

A: Thanks. Let me try it again. Ahem...My fellow...humans! Welcome!

This is a special edition of SHOW SPECTACLE (TM)! We're here all week visiting the territories of the U.S.!

During the next few days, we're visiting 5 U.S. territories. Drum roll, please...

E: American Samoa!

A: Oooooo.

E: Guam!

A: Awwwwwww.

E: Northern Mariana Islands!

A: Ooooooo.

E: Puerto Rico!

A: Awwwwwwwww.

E: And, we're coming to you tonight from...the US Virgin Islands!

A: Ohhhh...yeaaahhhhh! Look at that water - as far as the eye can see. Look at that view. Those rolling green hills.

E: Territories are part of the U.S., but they are not U.S. states.

A: But, their President is still the U.S. President.

E: Presidents Day is about the office of the Presidency of the United States.

A: The President is the head of the U.S. government, and has special powers and responsibilities, like signing bills into law.

E: There are lots of great things to say about Presidents. But, there are always complaints as well. The list is long: their bad ideas; abuses of power; irresponsible spending; lack of smarts; few practical experiences.

A: But, the great thing is, if enough people don't like the President’s job performance, they can vote for a new President during the next election.

E: So, we're nut stuck with the same person for thousands of years!

A: That's right. And Presidents Day is about recognizing the office of the President, and remembering the U.S. Presidents of the past.

E: And speaking of the past, take a good look at the American flag. It certainly has changed over the years. Today it has 50...count them…50 stars. Each five-pointed star represents a U.S. state.

A: And now...we're gonna recite, in alphabetical order, all 50 states of the U.S.!

E: And we’re going to recite them all in only 30 seconds!

A: It's taken us weeks to finally memorize the entire list!

E: Let's name them off! Here we go!

A: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho…

E: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland…

A: Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri…

E: Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York…

A: North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina…

E: South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington…

A: West Virginia…

E: Wisconsin…

A: And Wyoming!

E: Yes! Thank you! Thank you!

A: And we even do it for money!

E: Speak for yourself.

A: What?!

Y: Of course we didn't. We did it because - say it with me now - if you don't know where you're going...you'll end up going nowhere.

A: It's important to take a little time to learn what states make the United States.

E: That way you know how to make your way around when you become a huge star and you have to visit all your fans and sign autographs!

A: I mean, how else will you follow all the great activities occurring across the IMAGINATIONHOOD (TM) USA map?

E: I'm glad you have your priorities in order.

A: Hey, I gotta give a shout out to our friends over at the FANTASY AIR NETWORK (TM). They do a great job!

E: Which is what the President really wants to do. A great job. But, it's such a hard job. No doubt about it.

A: Speaking of Presidents...what about Princes?

Coming up in a few days, it'll be the FANTASY CROWN (TM) competition! Who will be named PRINCE FANTASY (TM)?

E: I can't wait for that one. It’s an all male competition.

A: Anyway, we're gonna take a nice long break. We'll see you again soon in a few weeks.

E: And don’t forget BEJQXYZ!

A: Say what?

E: B-E-J-Q-X-Y-Z! Those are the letters that don’t begin a name of a state.

A: We’ve been studying too long!

E: A little too long. We'll catch you next time!

A: Bye!

E: We hope you all have a great Presidents Day!
