CONDUCTOR: Welcome to a recap of our venture through the great states of Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

We traveled up and down, in and out, to find the dreams on people's minds. What to they want to do? Today? The next day? Every. Single. Day?

Sleep mats were provided for some much needed rest and relaxation.

The SLEEP PARTY (TM) Stops across the region and across the country provide some nap time for people to take a time-out from the fast-paced routines and stress of everyday life.

After the energized break, we asked a question that we’ll continue to ask through this expedition across the U.S. The question is found online on the DREAM METER (TM) poll -- or DREAM-O-METER (TM) poll.

The question is simply this: Which is the most valuable experience?
A) Discovering a Dream
B) Pursuing a Dream
C) Achieving a Dream
D) Having Dreamed
E) Dreaming while Sleeping

Throughout the East South Central States, opinions were as follows:

Discovering a Dream – 10%
Pursuing a Dream – 45%
Achieving a Dream – 20%
Having Dreamed – 20%
Dreaming while Sleeping – 5%

The most important activity, according to the people we asked across the region, was to pursue a dream. This was the number one activity in our last region as well!

It seems again and again, the idea of pursuing the dream is the most valuable experience. No matter the outcome, it's the TRYING that makes the difference.

Try. Try that new task. Try that new project. Try that new job. Try that new career.

What are people's favorite occupations? We got plenty of responses: Astronaut, banker, inventor, teacher, singer, and horse breeder.

Remember, the best job in the world is the one you want to do. And when you want to do a job over and over again, chances are that you like the job. And if you like the job, you're probably good at that job. You show merit!

And that's why on our expedition across the country we are saluting people who day in and day out do a great job for their neighborhoods with the DREAM MERIT (TM) Acknowledgment.

We'll discuss what the DREAM MERIT (TM) is all about as our expedition continues.

And let's not forget the DREAM LAUREATE (TM) Reflection the highly regarded emblem granted at the DREAM ASSEMBLY (TM) Symposium.

But it all starts with doing. With trying.

So, step up!
